Draft for owner review

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026

1. Scope

This policy describes Jarvis Ledger Reader, a private internal integration prepared for Maxwell Company LLC. The integration is intended for use only by the company owner and people the owner expressly authorizes. It is not a public software service.

2. Information the integration may access

After the owner authorizes a connection, the integration may access accounting information made available through the QuickBooks Online Accounting API, including company information, chart of accounts, transactions, customers, vendors, invoices, estimates, bills, payments, journal entries and financial reports.

Intuit's accounting authorization scope is not technically limited to read-only access. As an internal safeguard, the initial Jarvis Ledger Reader configuration disables create, update and delete tools and is intended to register only read, search and report functions.

3. How information is used

Accounting information is used only to help the authorized owner review financial activity, assess bookkeeping completeness and data quality, prepare internal reports, and plan owner-approved bookkeeping work. The integration is not intended to sell data, advertise to customers, make loans, provide investment advice, sell insurance, or initiate payments or money movement.

4. Storage and security

The accounting connector is intended to run in the owner's controlled computing environment. OAuth credentials and tokens must be stored outside public web pages, ordinary documents, chat transcripts and source control. Public informational pages do not receive or store QuickBooks credentials.

Access should be limited to authorized users and devices. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards will be used, including restricted credentials, least-necessary tool registration, and revocation of access when it is no longer needed.

5. Sharing

Accounting information is not sold. It may be disclosed only to service providers needed to operate the authorized integration, when directed by the owner, or when required by law. Any future service provider or processing arrangement must be reflected in this policy before it is used.

6. Retention and deletion

Accounting information should be retained only as long as needed for the owner's internal review and legal or accounting obligations. Disconnecting the integration revokes future API access but may not automatically delete reports or records previously exported by the owner. The owner may request deletion of integration-created local copies, subject to required legal or accounting retention.

7. Owner choices

The owner controls whether the company connects to the integration and may revoke access through the QuickBooks Online connected-app settings. See the disconnect instructions.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated if the integration's data practices, hosting, service providers or intended users change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.
